The City Bandung, the capital city of West Java, is about 180 km (112 miles) southeast of Jakarta. With almost three million inhabitants in Bandung City and over seven million in greater Bandung area, it is the fourth greatest city in Indonesia. The city is rich in history, culture and education, architectural heritage, shopping spots and tourism activities.

How to Get There
By Air

Bandung's Hussein Sastranegara (IATA: BDO) airport offers limited services mostly with small planes. Air Asia flies at least daily to Bandung from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore while Merpati and Sriwijaya Air fly from other big cities in Indonesia such as Surabaya. The preferred alternative is by using flights to Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport then land transportation to Bandung which is an approximately 3-hour drive.
